What We Believe

  • In the verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures.
  • That the Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God’s plan and purpose in the ages.
  • In God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • In the deity, virgin birth, and sinless humanity of Jesus Christ.
  • That the suffering and death of Jesus Christ was payment for all of mankind’s sin.
  • In the bodily resurrection and rising of Christ, and the bodily resurrection of his saints.
  • That salvation is “by grace” plus nothing and minus nothing. The condition to salvation is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • That men are justified by faith and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
  • In the visible, personal, and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ.
  • In the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
  • In creation the way Genesis accounted for it in the Bible.
  • That Jesus Christ established His church during His ministry on earth and that it was always a local, visible assembly of baptized believers in covenant relationship to carry out the Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ, and no other ecclesiastical body may exercise authority over it.
  • That Jesus Christ gave the Great Commission to the New Testament churches only, and that he promised the eternity of His churches.
  • In freedom of worship without interference from the government.
  • We affirm our belief in civil obedience, appropriate when the laws and regulation of civil government are in agreement to the Holy Scriptures.
