Pastor Shane Ogdie

SENIOR PASTOR

Pastor Shane Ogdie was saved in 1997 at the age of twenty five. He was called to preach in 2005 while serving as full time youth pastor at Walker Springs Road Baptist Church in Jackson, Alabama, under the leadership of Pastor David Webb. He graduated from Blessed Hope Baptist Bible College in Benton, Arkansas, under the leadership of Dr. Ken Graham.

Pastor Ogdie is a second generation preacher. His father, Dr. Karl Ogdie, pastored for 30 years and is now in full time evangelism. His brother, Jeremy Ogdie, has served as pastor of Trinity Baptist Church since 2000. His younger brother, Shaun Ogdie, has served as assistant pastor at Joshua Baptist Church since 2014.

Pastor Ogdie and his wife, Misty, were married June 10th, 1995. They have four children, Devin, Taylor, Nathan and Katlyn. All of his children are involved in the ministry at Woodland Hills Baptist Church.

Mrs. Savanna Loy

SECRETARY

Savanna Loy was saved in October of 2010. She was not raised in a Christian home but had a desire to go to church and start visiting local Baptist churches. Her husband suggested she visited Woodland Hills Baptist Church because his own family had been there before. On the day before they were planning to visit the church, Pastor Ogdie left a tract on the door. The Loys knew this was the church they needed to visit and became members in 2010.

Savanna is married to Jordan Loy. They have six children, five of which are adopted and one that is their miracle child. Currently, Ms. Savanna has been the secretary since 2011 and was the original Principal of the Academy. She proudly ran it for the first 7 years of its existence. The school is still near and dear to her heart and her children attend, but since the church is rapidly growing, she is now focusing her efforts as full-time secretary. Ms. Savanna loves serving the Lord and is happy to be a faithful and active member.

Bro. Devin Ogdie

ASSISTANT PASTOR

Devin Ogdie grew up attending Woodland Hills Baptist Church and Woodland Hills Baptist Christian Academy. After graduating in 2017, he attended Bible College at Commonwealth Baptist College. While enrolled in college he began working at Clays Mill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jeff Fugate and Youth Pastor William Davis. Devin graduated Bible College in 2021 and moved back to Tyler, Texas to work as assistant pastor at his home church.

Devin serves as the Sunday School teacher of the Ignite Sunday School class, congregational and special music director, choir leader, media director, soul winning director, and high school teacher at our christian academy.
